Maonan ethnic group celebrates Fenlong Festival in Guangxi

A variety of traditional folk activities unfolded during the Fenlong Festival of the Maonan ethnic group on Friday in Huanjiang Maonan autonomous county of the Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region.

Featuring intangible cultural heritage activities and folk traditions, the Fenlong Festival gathers residents for energetic singing and dancing, as well as dragon boat races.

The time-honored event features prayers for favorable weather and abundant grain.
