Recommended travel destination for Sanyuesan: Hechi Small Three Gorges

The Zhuang ethnic group's traditional Sanyuesan Festival falls on April 21. Those traveling to the region may wish to consider checking out this niche travel destination in Hechi, namely the Small Three Gorges Scenic Spot.

The Small Three Gorges is located in Jinchengjiang district of Hechi in the Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region. It boasts the spectacular beauty of the Three Gorges on the Yangtze River as well as the elegance of the Lijiang River in Guilin.

The Three Gorges are Tianmen Gorge, Liangfeng Gorge and Longmen Gorge. The valley on both sides is flush with trees. Traveling here by boat is the best option for tourists, making visitors feel as though they are floating through a living painting. The river course runs for 12 kilometers, taking about 1.5 hours by boat.

During the Sanyuesan Festival, the scenic spot will provide special snacks, gifts from the Zhuang ethnic group, and rental services to visitors can try out some ethnic clothing.
