Nandan Yunguantian Scenic Area boasts magnificent snow scenery

On Dec 28, Nandan Yunguantian Scenic Area in Nandan county was surrounded by snow. It was the first snow in the scenic area since the beginning of winter this year.

Located in Mangchang town, Nandan county, Yunguantian Scenic Area covers an area of 6,200 mu (13.3 hectares), at an average altitude of about 1,000 meters. It is a tourist attraction integrating landscape and pastoral sightseeing, modern agricultural demonstration, starry sky camping, sports and leisure, and science popularization and research.

This scenic spot was recognized in the second batch of national AAAA level scenic spots in 2022. The scenic area has oil tree forest land landscape, mountain pastures, karst mountains, pastoral scenery and other resources. To date, a cloud-top viewing platform, a campsite, a coffee house, trails and other scenic spots have been built.
