Bama Yao autonomous county has focused on rural revitalization and urban-rural integration development over the past ten years, and the county's economy and society have maintained a strong development trend.

Bama's urban and rural landscape has undergone a radical change, with the former expanding from 12 square kilometers to 15.1 sq km. Bama has implemented several livelihood projects and raised a large amount of funds to invest in water, electricity, roads, education, health, and the renovation of residential buildings throughout the county.

Transportation in Bama has also grown by leaps and bounds. In particular, the completion and opening of the Hechi-Baise Expressway has shortened the journey from Jinchengjiang to Bama from 4.5 hours to just 2 hours. The total mileage of roads in Bama has now reached 971.89 km.

Bama has continued to expand its urban framework. It is building an "eight lines and a ring" high-speed road network pattern, and accelerating the establishment of a traffic hub in eastern Guangxi and the New International Land-sea Trade Corridor.

Bama digital health town has also taken shape, featuring 5G+ laboratories, bases for Huawei's smart wearables, and private businesses in creative fields. The town benefits from a wealth of natural resources and has won a reputation as a longevity township with a mature healthcare industry.
