On Sept 20, the original music video titled Pomegranate Seeds, Ethnic Unity, produced by the Hechi municipal ethnic and religious affairs committee, filmed by Nanning Mingliu Shijia Cultural Industry Investment, and composed by Yao Liang, a teacher of Hechi Vocational Education Center School, was released.

The music video encapsulates the intangible cultural elements such as Zhuang folk songs, Dong songs, Shuangle Miao village, Mulam paper-cuts, and bronze drums, presenting an accurate portrait of the unity and progress of all ethnic groups and their happy life in Hechi and even Guangxi.

The MV started its production in Hechi's Jinchengjiang district on July 11. Various angles were shot in Hechi's Jinchengjiang district, Luocheng Mulam autonomous county, Huanjiang Maonan autonomous county, as well as Nanning and Qinzhou.

On May 23 this year, Luo Huaqing, the inheritor of the paper-cut of the Mulam ethnic group, created a paper-cut work that is named, Pomegranate Seeds, Ethnic Unity, which suggested the diverse unity of Hechi's eight ethnic groups, including Zhuang, Han, Yao, Miao, Dong, Mulam, Maonan, and Shui. Yao got his creative inspiration from the paper-cut work and created the music.
