Recently, pieces of a huge wall full of painted cultural works have been unveiled in Baping village and Manba village, Mangchang town, Nandan county. The painted walls and the blooming rapeseed flowers in the terraced fields have attracted many villagers and tourists to visit the villages.

Baping village and Manba village are located in the Nandan Rice Fields and Flower Sea Pastoral Complex, which is the only autonomous-region-level pastoral complex pilot project in Hechi. The complex creates rice paddy art paintings, as well as plants contiguous rape flowers, sunflowers, and various ornamental flowers in Baping terraced fields every year to promote rural tourism development.

Since the beginning of this year, the Nandan county agriculture and rural affairs bureau has raised project funds and hired a professional wall painting company to paint cultural walls. To date, 31 painted cultural walls have been completed, with a painted area of 2,152.9 square meters.

By presenting the cultural wall with pictures and text, the county integrates Baping terraced fields, beautiful rural features, and art to promote the development of its leisure agriculture and rural tourism industries, as well as boost its rural revitalization efforts.
