In recent years, Luocheng has been promoting rural revitalization through the development of characteristic industries, such as its camellia oil industry. The county's characteristic industries have developed rapidly, spanning a total area of more than 2.8 million mu (120,000 hectares), while 192 modern characteristic agricultural demonstration zones have been created.

Located in Lile village, Sipiao town, Luocheng Mulam autonomous county, Luocheng Mingyi Camellia Oil Demonstration Zone was awarded the title of "Guangxi Modern Characteristic Agriculture Demonstration Zone (Three-Star)." It has benefited more than 1,200 farmers and prioritized the employment of more than 120 impoverished people, providing them with a monthly salary of over 2,000 yuan ($317).

The camellia oleifera trees in the demonstration zone began to bear fruit in 2020, with an output of 80 metric tons and an output value of 2.4 million yuan in 2021. It is estimated that after entering the peak production period, the annual output of camellia oleifera seeds will reach 2,100 tons, with an output value of 52.5 million yuan.
