On Jan 19, the agriculture and rural affairs bureau of Luocheng Mulam autonomous county held a training class for female farmers in Xiaoren village, Sipao town, inviting Luo Huaqing, an intangible culture heritage inheritor of Mulam paper-cutting, to teach paper-cutting skills. They learnt to create paper-cut works with tiger elements to welcome the arrival of "the year of the tiger."

Festive accessories like red lanterns, Spring Festival couplets, and Chinese knots can be seen throughout major shopping malls in Luocheng. Many people have carefully selected Spring Festival goods to prepare for the Chinese New Year.

In order to ensure the normal operation of lighting facilities during the Spring Festival, Tian'e county organized personnel to maintain the street facilities in the county area, creating a good travel environment for residents.

Bama Yao autonomous county held a Spring Festival cultural activity on Jan 18 at the Xinmin community. Calligraphers wrote couplets for the relocated people there and sent New Year's blessings, adding to the community's festive atmosphere.
