Hechi's tourism booms during National Day holiday

During the past National Day holiday, which was held from Oct 1 and 7, Hechi has received a total of 2.2 million tourists, and the total tourism consumption was 1.57 billion yuan ($243.6 million).

This year marks the 100th anniversary of the founding of the CPC, and Hechi's red tourism attractions like the Guangxi Peasant Movement Institute Site, the Former Site of 7th Red Army Committee and Former Residence of Wei Baqun have welcomed a large number of tourists during the past holiday.  

The countryside tour in Hechi also attracted numerous fans during the holiday. At the Lyudao Huahai Leisure Agriculture Core Demonstration Area in Baping village, wandering in the sea of flowers and enjoying the rural scenery were both very popular among tourists.

During the holiday, Hechi's consumption has recovered and shown new trends. In Damou town, night tourism attracted many young people. The night tour project "Dream Bama" performance at the Changshou Island Scenic Spot was also very popular and attracted many tourists from home and abroad.

In the next five years, Hechi will accelerate the development of tourism and will  become a livable place and a healthcare tourism destination. The city will strive to double its number of tourists and consumption by 2025.
