Hechi's expressway construction receives $2.85b investment

The city of Hechi has received a total of 18.5 billion yuan ($2.85 billion) of investment in expressway construction as of the end of August, according to the Hechi municipal bureau of transportation.

There are 10 expressway projects under construction in Hechi this year, including Du'an-Bama, Laibin-Du'an, Nandan-Xialao, Pingtang-Tian'e, Tian'e-Bama, Bama-Pingguo, Bama-Tiandong, Bama-Qiangwei, Yizhou West Transit Line, and Hechi-Libo. The estimated total investment of the projects is 117 billion yuan and the total mileage is 704.19 kilometers.

At present, the overall progress of the projects is running smoothly. Among them, the Du'an-Bama Expressway opened to traffic on Sept 29, and the construction of other expressway projects is being accelerated.
