Nandan county: a summer tourist destination in Guangxi

Hechi's Nandan county was recognized as Guangxi's "summer tourist destination" at the 2021 "climate symbol" press conference, which was held in Nanning, capital of Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, on June 8.

The selection of "Guangxi's summer tourist destination" was done with the aim of exploring the high-quality summer tourism resources of Guangxi, as well as advocating green, comfortable and healthy lifestyles.

The climate of Nandan is comfortable, with abundant rainfall and sunshine. Its annual average temperature is 17.4 C, and the climate suitability index of summer tourism is 25.04 between June and August.

In order to meet the needs of the rapid development of the tourism sector, the county has taken a series of measures in recent years. It has improved tourism facilities and developed its folk culture resources. Three 4A scenic spots, three 3A scenic spots and a Guangxi five-star rural tourism area have been created in the county.

As a result, Nandan has achieved remarkable results, and seen huge benefits to its economic and social development. The county will continue to make efforts to protect its climate resources and develop the tourism industry in the future.
