Duck catching contest kicks off harvest festivities in Nandan

Villagers participate in a duck catching contest ahead of the Chinese Farmers' Harvest Festival in Nandan county, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, on Monday. 

The event, themed "Celebrate Agricultural Harvest, Enjoy a Better Life", was held prior to the eighth Chinese Farmers' Harvest Festival, which falls on Tuesday this year. Local communities, including the Zhuang, Han, Yao, Miao, and Bouyei ethnic groups, gathered to celebrate the special day.
