The ASEAN-China Youth Hosts Camp 2025 Sharing Session was held in Guilin, local media outlets reported on June 4. The event gathered 23 young hosts from China and seven ASEAN countries, aiming to deepen cultural ties through storytelling and new media.
As a flagship program of the China-ASEAN Audio-Visual Week, the camp has taken place five times across 15 cities, engaging over 100 participants. This year's route, "Bangkok-Nanning" and "Shenzhen-Guilin", provided participants with immersive experiences focused on cross-border media collaboration, advancements in AI-powered audio-visual technologies, and insights into China's visa-free transit policy.
The event featured participation from media representatives across ASEAN, facilitating real-time sharing on global platforms. A thematic forum was held, showcasing insights from experts affiliated with the National Radio and Television Administration (NRTA) and the Communication University of China. Participants from Cambodia, Indonesia, and other ASEAN nations contributed valuable perspectives, making the event a dynamic platform for people-to-people exchanges and mutual learning.
