The opening ceremony for the Exhibition Center of China-ASEAN AI Innovation Cooperation Center was held in Nanning, Guangxi, on April 3, marking a significant milestone in the city's initiative to create a "Digital Silk Road."
Located in the core area of Wuxiang New District in Nanning, the project covers an area of approximately 19,000 square meters. It includes a service hall, AI exhibition hall, smart factory, and ASEAN AI training base.
Supported by AI technology, the project is guided by the concept of green and intelligence. It aims to provide an immersive human-machine interaction experience, integrating technology demonstrations, scenario applications, and innovation incubation to create a low-carbon AI experience platform for ASEAN countries and regions.
Once completed, the project will help Nanning become a key hub for promoting AI technology research and development, cross-border cooperation, nurturing digital ecosystems, and transforming achievements. It will enhance functions such as AI essential services, technological innovation, operational management, and industry promotion.
As the provincial capital nearest to ASEAN in China, Nanning is at the forefront of China's open cooperation with ASEAN. The city aims to seize opportunities in AI industry development, utilizing its resources and comparative advantages to promote the integration of AI with various industries and accelerate the creation of a new hub for AI industries targeting ASEAN.
