Speaking to a group of foreign diplomats at a promotional event in Yulin on Feb 13, he said with its industrial clusters in sectors such as equipment manufacturing, new materials, spices, medicinal health products, textiles and garments, Yulin also serves as an important logistics hub in the Western Land-Sea New Corridor, awaiting investment from the outside.

Zhang expressed his hope that the "2025 China and the World – Chinese Culture Tour for Diplomats in China" event held in Yulin could serve as an opportunity to deepen cooperation with other countries in the areas of economy, trade, industry and culture.

After arriving in Yulin on Feb 10, the diplomats visited enterprises such as Guangxi Sanhuan Group and Guangxi Southern Food and Health Factory on Feb 11, as well as Yulin Fuda International Spice Trading Center on Feb 12.
