New China-ASEAN institute on manufacturing opens in Nanning

The China-ASEAN Intelligent Manufacturing International Education Institute, co-founded by Qingdao Haizhichen Industrial Equipment and Guangxi Technological College of Machinery and Electricity, opened on Jan 15 in Nanning, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region.

Chen Dong, chairman of Qingdao Haizhichen Industrial Equipment, emphasized the company's focus on industrial vision and advanced 3D robot vision technology.

The establishment of the institute signifies a substantial advancement in the integration of industry and education. Haizhichen seeks to utilize its technical expertise in conjunction with the educational resources of Guangxi Technological College to develop a comprehensive, diverse, and internationally oriented talent training system. This initiative will prioritize international collaboration, artificial intelligence, social skills development, and the enhancement of student employability.

After the opening ceremony, Haizhichen signed strategic cooperation agreements with Guangxi Technological College and Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence to foster industry-education integration and train high-quality intelligent manufacturing talent.

Additionally, Haizhichen signed an agreement with Guilin University of Technology to promote new developments in industry-education integration.
