Cross-border vehicles loaded with goods have recently been queuing for customs clearance at Pingxiang city, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, bringing fresh and high-quality fruits to China from this largest port city for China-ASEAN fruit import and export trade.

ASEAN fruits such as Vietnamese longan and dragon fruit, Thai durian, mangosteen, and wax apple are prominently displayed at various fruit markets in Guangxi.

"I have been swamped every day since the market opened. I can sell up to 800 Thai durians on the busiest days," said Guan Ziwei, a fruit merchant at the Guangxi Haijixing Agricultural Products International Logistics Center.

At the New Year Goods Shopping Festival held at the Nanning International Convention and Exhibition Center, ASEAN specialties such as Vietnamese coffee, Malaysian bird's nest, and Cambodian fragrant rice attract numerous consumers. Products such as Malaysian frozen durian and Singaporean bak kut teh soup packs have surged to the best-seller list online.
