Recently, Luocheng Zhongqi New Materials Company held its launch ceremony for the research, development, and manufacturing of new silicon crystal materials in the Hechi Port area.

The project's total investment is 540 million yuan ($76.3 million). This project aims to expand the local economy, increase tax revenue, and promote local employment.

The project's first phase covers an area of 188 mu (12.5 hectares) and has a building area of 73,257.75 square meters. The project is expected to produce 500,000 metric tons annually after operation, including quartz powder for TFT LCD panels, quartz powder for electronic fillers, and fine sand powder for artificial quartz panels.

The project takes advantage of Luocheng's rich quartz resources, which are nearby. It adheres to the principles of energy conservation and environmental protection. The project aims to establish a leading intelligent manufacturing factory in China that produces high-value silicon products.

The Guangdong Zhongqi New Materials company representative states that the company is poised to continue to adhere to the principle of "environmental protection, intelligence, and efficiency." They aim to build a sustainable production system and become a responsible enterprise to improve the Luocheng economy.
