A special red train for marriage registration was delivered on Feb 1 in Liuzhou, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region. The public could obtain marriage certificates on the train and experience a unique wedding ceremony.

Liuzhou Locomotive and Rolling Stock and the civil affairs bureau of Liunan district, Liuzhou, jointly created the registration office.

Zeng Deliang, deputy head of Liunan district, said that the district aimed to create a wedding customs cultural industry park by utilizing the idle factory area of Liuzhou Locomotive and Rolling Stock. 

Once completed, the park will help drive the gathering of surrounding wedding industry businesses, ultimately forming a cultural and creative industry cluster area featuring wedding industry and wedding culture.

Tan Li, deputy general manager of Liuzhou Locomotive and Rolling Stock, said that this train embodies key railway elements, is set to promote the government's marriage registration service to new heights, and will contribute to cultural tourism, thereby serving economic development.
