The 2024 Guangxi Spring Flower Market, held by the Forestry Bureau of the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and the municipal government of Nanning, opened on Jan 24 and will run to Feb 7.

The fair is being held at the west gate of the Guangxi Medicinal Botanical Garden and the Nanning Flower and Bird Market.

It combines flower displays and trading, cultural and artistic performances, leisure activities and food tastings. The whole affair is not only convenient for locals to buy their New Year goods, but is also a great opportunity for them to enjoy themselves and have a really great time.

The total exhibition area of the flower market covers around 1,550 square meters – with participating flower and plant enterprises showcasing their orchids, kumquat trees, red palm trees, holly, begonias and seasonal fruit. 

In addition, the venue is decorated with festive-themed scenic spots to enhance the romantic atmosphere of the cornucopia of flowers and the auspiciousness of the Spring Festival.
