"No matter how special the work is, there's always someone who needs to do it," said Huang Man, deputy Party secretary of the Rongxian county public security bureau of Yulin, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region.
Huang has been dedicated to public security forensic medicine for 13 years, inspecting more than 650 bodies, helping solve over 600 major and difficult cases, as well as examining more than 4,800 injured people.
She is also a delegate to the upcoming 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, which will be held in Beijing on Oct 16.
Huang noted that the forensic work requires continuous innovation. "As a Party member, I need to set an example for women and encourage more people to join the area," she added.
