A delegation of consul generals of Malaysia, Cambodia, Thailand, Myanmar, and Vietnam in Nanning joined officials for these consulates general on a tour of Nanning, capital of Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, on June 15.

Their tour included stops at Nanning International Railway Port, the Nanning Comprehensive Service Center of the China (Guangxi) Pilot Free Trade Zone, China-ASEAN Information Harbor, and Guangxi International Zhuang Medicine Hospital.

The tour provided an opportunity for foreign envoys to learn more about Nanning's socio-economic development, while also helping deepen cooperation between Nanning and ASEAN countries. 

Do Nam Trung, consul general of Vietnam in Nanning, said that the event made attendees of the tour more aware of Nanning's function of being a window for China-ASEAN communication and cooperation.
