Located in the middle of Beibu Gulf, Beihai, Weizhou Island covers a total area of 24.74 square kilometers with the highest altitude of the island reaching 79 meters. It is among the top 10 beautiful islands in China. It is also the youngest volcanic island in the country and the largest island in Guangxi. The average annual temperature here is about 23 C and the island enters its peak season of tourism after May.
