Liuzhou, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region has fully integrated the resources of all parties to promote the healthy development of the non-public economy of the city since the beginning of this year.

The city has so far helped to develop 180,000 individual industrial and commercial households, nearly 60,000 non-public enterprises, and more than 700 non-public industrial enterprises above designated size.

The total investment in non-public fixed assets has reached more than 25 billion yuan ($3.63 billion) with a year-on-year increase of over 23 percent; the total import and export volume in non-public fixed assets has reached more than 1.7 billion yuan with a year-on-year increase of over 12 percent.

Since last year, Liuzhou has held a special analysis symposium on the development of the non-public economy every quarter. It has provided more than 230 services for enterprises to optimize the business environment and to solve the problems of enterprise development.

In order to create a better environment for non-public economic development, Liuzhou has carried out administrative examinations and approval reforms to reduce the time limit for approval, optimizing the process and simplifying the conditions for the establishment of enterprises and businesses. A strict internal and external supervision mechanism has also been implemented.

In July this year, the administrative examination and approval bureau of Liuzhou officially reformed 16 service initiatives, saving the enterprises more than 6 million yuan in operating costs per year.

In addition, Liuzhou has trained more than 1,500 corporate personnel through the "Liuzhou Lecture" and "Non-public Economy Lecture".

Liuzhou has further explored the establishment and improvement of the problem coordination mechanism, established a system of non-public economy meetings and promoted the construction of a non-public economic service platform in Guangxi.

Since last year, Liuzhou has held four non-public economy situation analysis meetings, coordinated and resolved 104 corporate appeals and problems, and accepted 299 coordination problems through the "online" and "offline" linkages of the non-public economic service platform in Guangxi.
