The launch ceremony of the China-ASEAN Digital Trade Center was held in Nanning, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region on Sept 22.

The digital trade center is a commercial complex integrating online and offline transactions and featuring an upgraded version of the China-ASEAN Commodity Exchange, a commodity e-market platform established in 2006. It aims to become an important business logistics platform connecting ASEAN countries and countries along the Belt and Road.

Zhang Shenfeng, vice-chairman of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, said at the launch ceremony that the digital trade center will help establish a broader system for digital economic cooperation, expand communication channels, and provide access to more high-quality resources.

The digital trade center has already attracted 30 trade companies including aolaigou, zbj.com, and Yiwu Jidong, which are involved in e-commerce, e-sports, electronic technology, internet finance, internet education, logistics, and more.

Li Bin, vice chairman of Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, said that the region will build the digital trade center into a model for the innovative use of supply chains, and become a new beacon of Guangxi's digital economy.
