Liyu Peak is one of the main peaks in Liuzhou, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region. Located on the south bank of the Liujiang River, Liyu Peak Scenic Spot is made up of Liyu Peak, Ma'an Hill, and Little Dragon Pool. It covers an area of 17.37 hectares, among which 0.36 hectares are taken up by water.

Liyu Peak is 68 meters high, 154.1 meters above sea level. The peak is also called Stone Fish Mountain. Luxurious vegetation dotted with pavilions and houses can be found on the mountain, of which the most famous one are Green Pine Pavilion, Guanshan Pavilion, and Guanmei Terrace. There are 392 steps in total on the zigzag path which leads you to the top of the peak. Standing on the top, the Liujiang River appears like a green belt and one can take a bird's eye view of the whole city.

Climbing up the mountain along the north slope, one can see a cave in which there is the statue of Liu Sanjie (liú sān jiě), called Sanjie Rock. More than 40 inscriptions are preserved in the cave.

At the foot of the Liyu Peak, there is a clean pool called Little Dragon Pool. A stone museum is located on the south side of the pool, in which there are exhibits of more than 100 species of stone and over 500 competitive products.

Liyu Peak is connected with Ma'an Hill through a cableway, which is the only one in a city center in China. Ma'an Hill is the highest peak in urban Liuzhou, with an elevation of 271 meters. It is a wonderful place to enjoy panoramic views of the city. The unique karst landform creates the natural landscape of mountains, waters, caves, and stones.
