Located in Nanning, capital of South China's Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, Longhu Mountain is one of the four great monkey mountains in China. It is a comprehensive nature reserve of forest and wild animal types, as well as a natural scenic spot of Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region. The total area is 271 hectares and the forest coverage rate is 98.7 percent. Many precious and endangered animals and plants in the first and second protection levels in China settle here.

According to incomplete statistics, Longhu Mountain has 213 species of wild animals, including more than 3,000 wild macaques. In addition, there are more than 1,200 species of 599 genera in 155 families, including 713 species of medicinal plants.

Longhu Mountain is rich in tourism resources and diverse in tourism projects. It is an ideal place for tourism, summer vacation, recuperation, scientific research, teaching, and conferences. The main landscape projects in the scenic spot include watching monkeys, taking part in water activities, admiring bonsai, and experiencing agritainment.
