Beihai launches comprehensive talent attraction plan
Beihai has fully rolled out its plan for recruiting graduates from key universities at home and abroad, with a focus on full-time graduates of "double-class" universities nationwide who will graduate next year.
Beginning with Chongqing University, Beihai will organize six groups across 18 cities including Beijing, Tianjin, Wuhan, Chengdu, Zhengzhou, Lanzhou and Xi'an for special recruitment. This year's recruitment work is based on the original five areas, plus a new southeastern area. The number of test sites has increased from 20 to 32.
In order to introduce and cultivate all kinds of urgently needed high-level talents, Beihai launched the "Leading Talent Plan" in 2016.
It proposed to introduce about 1,000 Party and government talents, education talents, scientific and technological talents, and enterprise talents in the five years from 2017, and cultivate about 1,000 local talents to provide intellectual support for accelerating the development of Beihai.
"Beihai, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region has unique geographical advantages, good economic development, and urban livability. The policy of introducing talents is also very attractive." Chang Peng, a master of law from Chongqing University, explained.
Since the implementation of the plan, Beihai has carried out 45 special college recruitments and two local special recruitments, recruiting 412 outstanding graduates, including one doctor, 219 masters students and 166 undergraduates.
